Well sorry this post is late and will be short. As I write everyone is tucked in bed happy and safe after a full night, just not what we expected. After dinner we moved to the gym for our usual Glee Club (nightly singing in the gym). In the Lord’s perfect timing, just as all were safe and sound, a nice size storm with strong winds moved through. Much of camp is out of power and we did have a few trees down around camp.
For the boys it proved to be a fun adventure. Devotionals were done by flashlight, lanterns placed in bathrooms. The weather has moved out and even while it rained we played. After Glee Club Richard Cox, our program director, kept everyone in the gym for Slaughterball. So not a bad deal all in all!
We needed the rain so we’re grateful for it and thankful that all is well. Thanks for reading and good night,
Glenn
