Many of our activities not only teach skills, but encourage creativity. Campers often leave at the end of the session having discovered new interests and abilities — from playing the guitar to riding trails on a mountain bike to tying a fishing fly.
Campers pick their own activities to pursue while at camp. With the help of their parents, Junior campers select five activities online before coming to camp. Campers enrolled for a 25-day session select 10 activities upon arrival. In addition to their selections, everyone participates in Team Sports, giving each camper 11 activity periods total.
Each activity period lasts for 50 minutes and each camper has 15 minutes in between to rest and get to their next activity on time. Boys are responsible to keep up with their own schedule and learn their way around the camp with the help of staff and returning campers. Activity counselors know who to expect in each period and begin by taking roll.
I have been to your camp for two years in a row and I am going again this summer. I have really enjoyed it and I want to thank you for letting me go. There are new activities every time I go and it is so fun!
As boys grow older, additional activities become available to them based on their maturity and experience. In addition to the 11 activity periods, each day ends with a Night Program, a selection of fun and unique activities assigned to each age group by the program directors.
