Ropes Course & Climbing

Project Adventure uses a low and high ropes course to develop cooperation, agility, balance, and the willingness to try new things. The course is laid out amidst massive boulders in the beautiful hardwood forests surrounding camp. The outdoor staff is highly trained to keep the courses safe as well as challenging.

Climbing piques the interest of almost every boy at some time. A 40 Foot Climbing Tower challenges climbers to ascend five separate routes, varying in degree of difficulty, to the top. Boys can also practice in our indoor Bouldering Barn, complete with angled walls and heavy-duty mattresses for safe practice and soft landings. Both facilities are supervised by trained climbing personnel.

Advanced climbers may take their skills to the next level with out-of-camp trips across Lookout Mountain.
